Artist's Statement

Judith Williams operates within a representational framework, creating work which often has a narrative quality. She finds the human face a particularly engaging subject and likes to inject the occasional dose of humour or mystery into her paintings.

Brief Biography

Judith Williams was born in Bunbury, Western Australia. After more than 20 years working as a clinical psychologist for the WA Health Department, she enrolled at Curtin University and completed an Honours degree in painting in 2002. Married with two adult children, much of Judith's time currently is spent developing an organic olive grove.
